White as Snow
The film not only tells the story of Hasan, a boy who is clinging to life with a great love for his
mother within the framework of a small village of poverty and the deadlock of their deprivations and
what he goes through trying to make a living selling ayran, but also the people around him as they try
to settle their own scores with their lives and themselves. White as Snow shows us how our lives are all
connected to one another, how we are responsible for each other, how a seemingly insignificant act in one
person's life can have such a big impact on someone else's.
